Man, am I a slacker…actually I take that back, I’m not. I am just super busy! It’s like we’re just spinning round and round and round here. We had our yard sale and did pretty good. We still have a lot of stuff to get rid of. We will be doing another yard sale in July before the movers arrive. We have so much going on. I just keep telling the kids a few more weeks and you’re off to Nana’s and you can relax for a while. Course I don’t get to go relax at that time I still have work to do here.
Everything for our Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony is coming together rather nicely. Tomorrow some friends and I are going to pick up decorations/flowers and crap. Yesterday, I went and found clothes for the kids – well for Brier, and material for Ashlynn’s dress. A friend’s grandma is going to make it for us. Isn’t that sweet? I’ve got to finalize songs, but other than that it’s coming together quite nicely. I still have to send an outline script to Kevin but I’ve pretty much got that finished. Need to add the songs to it, basically. So on top of our moving we are doing this too! Crazy isn’t it? I can’t wait though; we’ve been planning this for a while. To finally have it coming together and to celebrate the accomplishments we’ve made in our marriage – it’s amazing. It’s going to be awesome!
As far as our move goes…work, work, work. There’ is some issues with the cat and we might have to sedate her and take her on the plane as like “carry on” , that should be interesting enough uh? And we found out we get to pay for that part of all this. We still have tourist passports to get and visas, bout time to get that done I’m betting. I just wait for David to say “okay time for this or time for that”.
Yesterday, I took the kids to what I thought was their final Dentist appointment before we leave. It was for Brier, but for Ashlynn they want to put sealants on her back teeth (protective precaution) so she goes back next week. I go 2 days before we renew our vows (so I’ll have pretty teeth). Brier has one more Dr. Appointment before we go.
It’s getting close to time to pack suitcases. I have to pack summer and fall clothes for everyone – because we do not know what the weather will be like in England in September, I guess I should ask Lydia, maybe she’ could tell me. Living out of suitcases for 3 months is going to bite! Oh well, what can you do?
I’m going scrapbooking with friends this weekend; they are throwing like a “Going Away Scrapbooking” for me. We are all getting together at friends out, staying the night, and having a blast. A lot of them have offered to help me finish up the “Tonya & David” albums, so that we can show them off at the Ceremony. David would really like that. I can’t wait – this is going to be fun, and a wonderful memory to have. I must take my camera and get pictures of this crazy girl time. I’m going to miss “girl time” I hope I find someone to have “girl time” with in
Anyway – things are moving right along obviously. I promise to get better at blogging once we get moved and settled, so don’t give up on me! I’m still making an effort at the moment! It’s just with everything going on I have little “computer” time. I may get to blog some more during the summer…will depend on where I am and if there is a computer or not. I’ll be computer less for 3 months too!
