8 Days to Go...

I think reality is finally really starting to sink in :) I'm still excited, I'm still more than ready, but like my daughter I'm starting to get butterflies in my belly too. Today we went to town and renewed my license so that it wont expire while we're gone. We also went to walmart and got the kids plenty of jeans and Brier some shirts. Boy was that $$$ and I got some pictures printed to put into an album for my grandparents. I wrote them a little note inside it and then decided I'd better get up and get into doing something else or I just might go to bed. It was like 730 and I was up at 430 in the morning this morning and could not get back to sleep. So I got up, checked my email (or tired too...have been having problems with that all day) and then I began writing. I guess David woke up and saw me sitting in the recliner with the lab top and couldn't figure out what on earth I was doing there at 5 am! haha I went back to bed just before 7 and we got up at like 10!!! Crazy! This bed is so uncomfortable...I want my bed back! I want my pillow back! I need to get to England...I think I'm getting whiny. Ashlynn starts thinking about it every time she lays down at night - she might go crazy if we don't get going soon! Thank goodness we are basically down to ONE week left. It seems like its coming fast now, but yet not fast enough...this is a strange feeling. I can't wait to get there, can't wait to see it, can't wait to see what our home will look like, and so much more...but at the same time I can definitely wait to say "goodbye" to family. Maybe that's where the odd feeling comes from. Anyway - Ashlynn made peanut butter cookies these evening and Nana made her goulash for dinner...it's her favorite. I started sewing on a dress (yet another of my unfinished projects) this evening...it was starting to give me a headache...so I came in here to check email...which is still giving me a headache :) and blog. Other than that, that is pretty much how our day went. I think we are going to Cheap Penny's tomorrow...I can't remember what day we planned that. It's either tomorrow or Friday haha.
