Okay, just a short little note here - more to come later.
Those of you who know me and know me best - also know that Laundry is not my strong suit! As a matter of fact I HATE laundry. I don't like washing it, drying it, folding it, or putting it away...just ask my husband!
David is in charge of the laundry and he pretty much as been since the beginning of our marriage when he realized that his laundry skills were MUCH better than mine! I've dyed things yellow, pink, and even black! I forget about the clothes being there and then have to re-wash them!
So anyway - David is deployed and I am on that YUCKY Laundry duty! Oh how I do not like laundry.
Ashlynn, Brier, and I were sitting in the living room watching something on T.V. last week I think; when Brier informs me that there is a monster stealing his clothes and he is going to go all through the house until he finds his clothes or the monster. I asked him if the Dryer was stealing his socks. He said, no - it takes ALL my clothes! Ashlynn then begins to agree with him and stupid me falls right into their little trap and asks;
"So when did this Monster start stealing your clothes?"
Ashlynn: "As soon as Daddy left!!!"
You get the point? I got it! Loud and clear - I'm the laundry monster! So to get them off my back I begin the massive laundry process - it's forever on going! I've no idea how David does it ALL in one day - blows my mind!
The laundry is nearly completely washed, dried, folded, and put away - however now there are more freakin' dirty clothes! Did I mention I DO NOT like laundry? If Eve would have never eaten from that stupid Apple we wouldn't even have to do laundry! Urgh!
So today I'm washing some jeans - everything seems to be going fine - I've not dyed any clothes recently. I opened the new bottle of laundry soap - filled the cap to the one load mark and pushed start. Piece of cake right? I thought so and walked off.
I recently went back to the laundry room to get something - we all know I wasn't checking on the wash! And this is what I found:

I'm not sure what happened!!! I didn't put too much soap in at least I don't think so - I am using a British washing machine and they are much smaller - so I guess it's possible. I'm not sure, but in all my BAD laundry experiences THIS has never happened!!! You know that saying "never say never" - it totally applies to ME!
So now that is cleaned up and the jeans are washing again and again - I'm going to have some REALLY clean jeans!!! hahaha
Hey - Mom, do you want laundry duty while you're here? hehehe
I can not wait for David to return! He does laundry 10 times better than me! Yes, go ahead and laugh! He takes such good care of me, does the laundry and even folds it! See why I love that man!
Okay - now that you've all had a good laugh - I'm off to scrapbook and try to remember the jeans!
BYE!

Lol,I use to be that way with cooking. The hubby use to do all the cooking.I once put a pot of water on to boil some noodles,I forgot the noodles, the water burned away and I scalded my pot. That was a family joke for years! After the hubby got a job where he was working away alot,I HAD to cook.I'm so much better now and I do it all.Good luck!
ooooohhhh Myyyy.
Looks like my dishwasher....Didn't grow up with one and the first time I used the one here in the apartment, I put in the dishsoap. It was liquid and I had no idea that you dont use as much as you do with the powdered.....Well let's just say that in the middle of moving in, with boxes everywhere, while suffering from a sinus infection, and three small little ones under foot, I returned to the kitchen to discover that my entire kitchen floor was covered in soap suds, about 2 feet high!!! Now I'm scared of the liquid dishwasher soap.....and still kida afraid of the dishwasher its self!
