Kids & Lady

What a busy day! I didn't get anything I wanted accomplished today!! So guess I'll try again tomorrow. I did however see a lot of cute cards today, read a lot of interesting blogs, take Lady to David at work, so he could take her to the Vet, made it to the post office, and the BX to get a gift for my daughter's friend's upcoming Birthday Party. I've got to make a card to go with it tomorrow...least I hope to. If you'd like to see what my crafty personality has been up to, click over to Tuesday's and find out :)

Okay - why did Lady go to the Vet today? Well, as she is a new addition to our family and we had no paper work on her...it was time for shots and all that good stuff. David said she did very well, was a bit excited sitting in the waiting room, but then she loves people and gets overwhelmed when there are more than 8 hands to pet her! Silly thing! She really has an awesome personality! She only weighs 62 pounds! For as often as she sits on me...I would have guessed much more! She is a good girl though and we all really love her. So she got her shots, and a check up and all is well.


On Friday, she's visiting the groomers for a good scrubbin, clipping, and all that mess. She was recently "in season" (or in heat) and my goodness is that ever a mess! I will NOT go through that again, she's getting fixed on April 21st. So anyway, I thought after 3 weeks of that crap, she could and would probably enjoy a good scrub. Maybe we will get some pink bows in her ears or something :) hehe After all, Valentine's is Saturday, right?


And of course as normal David will be gone on Valentine's - I don't know that we've spent 1 Valentine together since we got married! And that's been nearly 10 years... Thankfully, he won't be gone long, just a short little trip to help some people out. :) It is also not too far away. Good man of mine, although he is dreading it, so please pray for him.

Tonight was also Parent/Teacher Conference night, I can't remember what the British call it for the life of me...it just won't stick! Both kids are doing very well! Ashlynn is flying through everything and enjoying it all. Brier is picking up speed and catching up to where he needs to be, he tries hard, and he is really starting to enjoy it. Thank goodness. So good reports for both of them! Hallelujah!


Alright, well I'm sure there is more I could jabber about (actually, I know there is) but it's 10:36 p.m. my time and 7 a.m. comes early...so I will leave you with this, isn't it the cutest!!!
