38 days to go...

...another day down. Today was a peaceful relaxing day. I really didn't do a whole lot. Worked on some letter writing that's been nagging at me for awhile now. Cooked some tacos, took the kids to VBS and ran to the grocery store for a few things, grabbed an apple while I was there to snack on and it was a pretty big red apple and I'd eaten about 3/4's of it and decided I was full. So I took the rest of it and gave it to the horse out back and she just loved it. She was chomping it up like crazy and droolin' everywhere. Then when it was gone she looked at me as if to say "Where's the rest of it?"
Other than that today has been a laid back take it easy kinda day. So there's not a whole lot to say about it. Other than one comment my daughter made to my son this afternoon. It was rather funny. My in-laws have a bunch of those animals that you press the button on their hand and they dance and sing...well my son had everyone of them out on the floor - it was his band. They were just a singing a million different songs and dancing away and I hear Ashlynn say "Brier, I have ears...and I'd like to keep them!!!" It was rather commical. My 8-year-old saying that! She's extrodinary.
Oh, other new is that my Father in law Jim gets to come home from the hospital tomorrow. Apparently he is a jabber jaws now that the tube is out, so I think tomorrow afternoon the kids and I will go to the pool. :) He'll probably need a nap anyway. Thank you for your prayers.
