15 Days to Go...

Almost to the 2 week marker!!! AMEN!!! I know maybe I'm not supposed to sound so excited, but I can not wait until I have my own home back! My Mom keeps telling everyone we're homeless...haha. She gets such a kick out of it. The crazy woman. We are currently spending sometime at David's Dad's, enjoying some laid back relaxation.

We got here Monday afternoon and I think I slept most of the evening and then went to bed and slept better than I had since I've been in Missouri. I think the long days/nights of the weekend and the emotions of everyone including myself from the loss of my cousin...I was just exhausted, physically and emotionally. I feel like I slept forever. I can only imagine how tired the rest of the family was and some of them had to drive back to different states.

I felt a little more alive yesterday. We didn't really do much. Which was nice. I started another book - it's good. It's the first in the Sunrise series by Karen Kingsbury. One of these days I'll go back and read the Redemption series that begins the Baxter Family Drama. It's really good set of books to check out.

The kids have been having a blast trying to catch kittens - I don't think they've caught one yet! Brier did catch a toad last night - it was huge...I'll post a picture one of these days. Thing is ugly!
Today - David went to try to get my mother's ring resized, it is gonna take about 10 days and I figure we better get it done before we fly out. Although, I'd love to just be wearing it haha. It's so pretty. I think he is also doing some geocaching...crazy man! I'm so glad he found a hobby...now just if my scrapbook supplies were in reach haha. Oh well. I'll have plenty of time soon enough.

We head back to Marilyn's (my mother in law) tomorrow and a friend of mine will be coming in for the weekend. Saturday is the "happy trails to you bbq" so we get to see a few people and say good bye. I made some business cards today with our Post Office box address thing and emails on them to pass out, so that everyone can stay in touch. And David got me an address book yesterday so I don't have to worry with all these little slips of paper that I have everywhere! haha. It's good to finally get some of the families emails that I didn't have. Maybe we can stay in touch better.

Anyway - that's about it for now. Time is getting close...are we ready?! What a ride! Right? Well, I'll soon find out. God Bless!
