Okay well were under the two week mark and just shy of the one week mark...crazy uh? Yeah, I think so to. The BBQ we had Saturday went really well, a lot of people showed up that I didn't expect to see. We had a good time visiting with family and friends and I got some snapshots of everybody (I think...I tried). We had a really nice time.
Then Saturday evening we went to the Osceola Rodeo! I wanted to go one more time before we left for England...which is why we're still here. We had to give a 10 day window of when we'd like to leave, so to in able us to go to the Rodeo we say we'd like to leave between the 10Th-20Th of September.
Anyway - Jenny and Mali had never been to a rodeo before!!! So I got to take my best friend to her first rodeo! I'm not exactly sure what she thought of it, but I hope she enjoyed it. I think she did. I ran into 3 people I know, Mickey, Mike, and Leona...I meant to give them contact information on me, but forgot to...so maybe I can track them down and get it to them somehow. The rodeo was good though and Mali got a pink/white cowgirl hat and refused to wear it, she was tired, but then we got in the car to leave and she woke up, put it on, then lifted it off her head and yelled "yeehaw!" It was great....it made the whole night.
Today - we introduced Jenny to "country" Church. I don't know her thoughts on that either but it sure ain't Ginghamsburg :) Then we all took naps today - late night + early morning = dog tired. David made lasagna this evening...it was great! Then Jenny and I went for a quite little walk together, she leaves in the morning and goes back to Ohio...so daybreak will be sad and I pray she doesn't cry all the way home! Out here in the country its so different from everything and she and I walked and talked and looked at the stars....that are nearly impossible to see if you live in town...to many street lights. As my Mom said, "You got a real friend in that Jenny" and she is 100% correct. Please pray for her and Mali as they travel home tomorrow and for our "goodbye" moment - although it won't be forever. It's kinda like on the end of the movie hope floats, beginnings are scary, endings are sad, and its the stuff in the middle that counts the most...that's right and because of all that middle stuff - I know Jenny and I will be friends for life.
Well, I better sign off before it becomes day 10...talk to you tomorrow. God Bless.

This is Jenny here. I had a wonderful time with my best friend Tonya. She showed me many wonderful things - the practice/real football field - and the rodeo was great. Mali enjoyed all that she was awake for - Hahaha! As Tonya said, I'd never been to a rodeo before, but it felt like the football games in my hometown were like. There was a lot of energy and fun. Mali is still running around the house with her stick horse and hat saying "Yee-haw"!
As for church, it was nice to get back to my roots. I grew up in a small church (much smaller than GUM) and made me really appreciate what I have while bringing back memories from the past.
Tonya, thank you so very, very much for allowing me to come out to see you. Just typing this, I want to cry, but I know that God has huge plans for you in England and I can't wait to see what he has you doing. Seeing my best friend one last time before she leaves was the best gift I could have! Your friendship has been such a huge blessing that I can't even put words to it.
So now that I've put down my feelings for the whole world to see, I end with one more word - LYLAS. Yes, it's an old high school word meaning Love You Like A Sister, but I mean every letter of it. You are a sister to me and I love you as I love my own sister.
Lylas,
Jenny
