For a few weeks now you all have read about my sister Holly and her family and prayed for Hailie. Hailie is still fever free. I believe she has a doctor's appointment tomorrow and they are going to red0 the blood work. Prayerfully, things will be fine. This has caused us all a lot of worry and stress, especially Nick & Holly. However, in light of what they've been going through, they've recently learned that they are expecting!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I got the email this morning letting me know! I'm so thrilled. Ashlynn and I've been talking about it this morning, wondering how far along Holly is and if the baby will be born in Oct or November, cause Ashlynn's birthday is in October. This family has a thing for October birthdays! Half the family has birthday's in October, the rest seem to fall in April. We were also speculating names and whether it's a boy or girl and what little Hailie will think. I think she'll be so proud! I can't wait to hear what all Hailie says!!
And as Ashlynn and I were talking we decided we'd better pray for Nick & Hailie, and anyone who comes near Holly! I love my sister dearly, don't get me wrong, but when she was pregnant with Hailie - oh the stories my Mom and Nick could tell! Holly was not a pleasant pregnant woman. She hated being pregnant, swore up and down that she would NOT do this again. :-)
I remember she was so hot all the time that she kept her home nearly as cold as a freezer! Poor Nick, would get towels out of the dryer and wrap up in them, she was freezing him! She was grouchy as all get out too. I did feel bad for her though, because she was in labor for 24 hours! The poor girl. She really had a rough pregnancy and those who experienced it with her, didn't enjoy it much.
So after thinking that we should pray for Nick, Hailie, and everyone...we decided we best just pray that Holly has a wonderful pregnancy experience this time. That she and everyone near her enjoy it. That it's a smooth pregnancy and that the labor experience will be much quicker.
So if you don't mind keeping them on your prayer list - I'd appreciate it. Let's pray for a enjoyable experience and a health bundle of joy!
***Holly*** - I love you sis! I can't wait to hear more about your pregnancy, when your due, and what names your considering and all that. I pray you enjoy it this time and that you don't freeze Nick & Hailie out the house this summer! Love ya, girl!
As for us, and what we've been up to - I'll either blog that later or tomorrow...beware I went to lunch with the Office people again! :-)
