"I just got the call from the doctor. She said Hailie’s liver enzymes are back to normal and all test show no signs of cancer. So we can all breathe and relax now. I am just so relieved. Thank God for taking care of my baby and thank all of you for your Prayers. They have really meant a lot to me and my family. God works in mysterious ways and not only did he bless us with Hailie being Cancer Free but He also blessed us with another baby. Yes that is right. In the mix of all the worry and stress, I recently found out that I am expecting. I am just so happy to get Hailie’s test results back, and feel like I am on cloud nine. HAILIE IS CANCER FREE!!!! Again Thank ALL for your prayers. Thanks"
PRAISE GOD! And thank you ALL for your prayers!
Secondly, I mentioned that I had lunch with the Office People last post, that was nearly a week ago now - but had kind of a busy weekend and then have been dealing with a headache off and on. Anyhow - it was much better this time around! Although, I'm still trying to figure things out. I got the silverware thing figured out, start at the outside and work your way in. What I haven't figured out is what they call things. Like they serve bread and butter first, okay the only time I've gone somewhere that served that first was Olive Garden in the states and it was bread sticks and salad. One time they served some sort of rye bread with our steaks at Lonestar, and at Red Lobster they serve rolls with your meal, but never just really bread and butter first.
So I'm wondering what they call that part of their meal? Cause they have something called "Starters" I think is what they said, and it's kinda like an appetizer or a mini meal, before the big meal. I don't know what it was I ate as my starter, but it was good. It was like I don't know a buschetta with cheese, peppers, and tomato.
For the main meal we got to do like a buffet type thing, pick what we wanted - but it still looked like "fancy food". They work really hard on the appearance of their food here. As a matter of fact I've heard people here refer to food as "gorgeous", "beautiful", and things like that. I've noticed that British people are very animated as well. I've heard more people in this country go, "umm" or "ahh", or "ohh" over their food than anywhere I've ever been. To me food is either good or bad. I've never referred to it as "gorgeous" or "beautiful" - that's not a way I would describe a "taste". It either tastes good or it taste bad or maybe it tastes "heavenly" or "rich" or "horrible" or "disgusting"....but "beautiful" and "gorgeous" that's new to me. :-) The British really like their food, they like it to not only look GORGEOUS but taste GORGEOUS as well! :)
As for the main part of the meal, I had parsnips, broccoli (which was the best broccoli I've ever tasted without cheese on it), a potato, something called "curry" - it was like a spicy sorta sauce with shrimp (prawns) in it (it was REALLY good), and then I had this chicken with some sort of spinach inside it. It wasn't bad, but I didn't think it was GORGEOUS. It tasted really good dipped in the curry sauce! I enjoyed the food so much more this time!
Then we had dessert - British people also eat a FULL meal, so much for my little hot pocket or smart ones lunch....this was a full course meal! I don't know what my dessert was called but it had some sort of chocolate with orange in it and some sort of white creamy stuff on top that was very thick and the whole thing was very RICH!
Thankfully, there were no chopped off finger looking things wrapped in bacon! You'd have to read my previous experience to understand. This time the experience was very enjoyable! Course I think anything with the Office People would be enjoyable! They keep me laughing and I always learn something new, as to whether or not that something "new" is true or not, is left to be answered. :-)
Thirdly, Ashlynn went to a sleepover and fell and hurt her head...thankfully it's healed nicely. She was giving her friends little brother a piggy back ride and he was heavier than she thought. She fell forward and took a face dive into the gravel. Said the last thing she saw was a big rock! Here are pictures:
Until next time! Thanks for stopping by! Be ready for loads of Italy pictures in a few weeks!

I've been to tons of restaurants that serve bread and butter first, but I have no idea what they call it lol. Most people expect bread and butter though!
I'm gonna have to travel to England just to try the food. I'm a definite food lover1
Ciao,
Have a wonderful time in Italy! Can't wait to hear about it.
