Anyway, the main reason we went to this thing was to get an English Heritage Membership - so we could get in free to some areas and discounted at others. Time to start planning some day trips and stuff...it's getting warmer - which means it's time to GET OUT! And to that I say, HALLELUJAH!
Anyway - my recommendations for attending a travel fair:
- Go with your spouse so he can carry the LOADS of information you get.
- Go without Children! (if you do take them, don't worry there is plenty of candy and balloons to distract them - the candy will hype them up and the balloons will drive you insane).
- Go prepared for LOTS of people in a small banquet size room, trying to circle around over 40 6ft tables of different information.
Did we learn anything? I can't tell you! But I might be able to in a month or so...look at all this!!!
It's going to take me FOREVER to look through all that! But we won't be at a loss on where to go or what to see and if we are we've seriously got some problems! I should have plenty of things to take my Mom to see this summer!
Did we get our membership? Yes! I'll let you know if it is worth it - but from everyone that's suggested it to me...it must be!
Friday - is Red Nose Day in England - I'll be posting more about that later. Oh and they celebrate Mothers Day in March! So I told David I get 2 Mother's day's this year!! Right?
We are still re-arranging some things. David finished is paper - AMEN. We're still trying to plan our trip to Italy - we better get on that uh? I signed up for a booth a craft fair - call me insane. The kids are doing well - loving school. Ashlynn has begun piano lessons again. Brier wants to do Karate - so guess I better check into that!
How's Lady? Lady is doing great - she's really landed on her feet here! We love her like crazy. She started obidence training last week and she's doing very well! She's my beautiful baby! Loves to walk and take naps and watch movies or read books...she still won't bring the ball back to me when I throw it, but that's minor. She is so spoiled! Everybody loves her and she loves everybody just as much! She loves to visit and say hello to everyone and she is still trying to figure out what that black and white animal is that sits on the fence from time to time (it's a cat). She doesn't grawl at it or nothing, just looks at it like "what are you" - it's funny. She's got an entertaining personality!
Well that's bout it, and we're off to Church in the morning...so it's bedtime.
Talk to you again soon.
P.S. Can anyone tell me what season of HOUSE they are watching in the states. We've been watching it and have NO CLUE what season we're one. So be bought the DVD set of season 1 and saw that season 4 is out as well!
