Post: 120 Prayer Request

I've a lot I wanted to write today, but that will have to wait. I've something more pressing at the moment.

My niece, Hailie, has been real sick on and off for several months. My sister, Holly, has taken her to the Dr. time and time again. The keep telling her that it's viral.

Last night Hailie spiked yet another high temp of 102.8. She was spending the night with my Mom, and so Mom called Holly, to tell her they needed to get to the Emergency Room. Holly came and got Hailie and took her to a walk in clinic. The Dr. there tried to give Holly the same song and dance she's been hearing. So Holly informed her everything she'd been dealing with and told her that she knows there is something wrong with her baby and to please look.

Come to find out Hailie has Strep Throat very severely. She is highly contagious and can not return to pre-school for 2 weeks. However, with all of Hailie's on-going symptoms the Dr's. are running some test. They are checking for cancer's, mainly Leukemia. The Dr. put a rush on the test and we should know within in 1-2 days. If it is taking longer the Dr. is supposed to call Holly and keep her updated.

In the meantime, I am asking that if you visit my blog to please take a moment and say a prayer for my niece. I would truly appreciate that and I will keep you updated with the news as I receive it. Thank you so much.
