LIFT OFF IS HERE!

Well, today is the day! My cell phone rang this morning at 7 a.m. - I thought it was the alarm clock, come to find out it was my sister Holly; calling to say she was thinking about us and praying for us and loved us. Do you know my heart flies nearly all the way to heaven and back when someone from my family says their praying for us. It just does the soul wonders to know.

Anyway - it's not quite time to board yet, we have a while thankfully. The kids and David are still asleep...they'll be waking up shortly enough, I'm sure. We didn't actually go to bed until late. I'm not sure what time we got to our hotel last night but after all the emotional goodbyes and prayers, we came in, and got the kids in the bath. I thought it would help calm Ashlynn down and it did a little.

Then you know how you can rent movies in hotels? Well, Kanfu Panda was available so we rented it and let the kids watch it, by the time it was over and we went to bed they were doing Kanfu in their sleep!

What was really funny and ended the night on a happy note is going to sound strange, but hey laughter is good for the soul. We were all in bed, trying to fall asleep, it was nice and quite, expect for Brier's yawns and then we here one of them fart! It was Ashlynn and it was plenty loud enough, that everyone heard it and David said, "Do I even want to know which one of you that was?" and poor Ashlynn she's laughing so hard and trying to say "it was me" at the same time! It was so funny and so we fell asleep with smiles on our faces and laughter in our hearts. Thank heavens for unexpected noises in silent moments!!! And yeah, I know she'll kill me if she ever reads this! haha But what are Mommy's for?

They sure are doing a lot of wiggling over there in that bed. Brier is upside down in the bed, Ashlynn must have just decided she was cold, cause she put the covers back on, and nearly covered up Brier's head. Silly kids - they hate sharing a bed. It will be so good to have our own home again and for them to have their own bedrooms. I know I can't wait for that. I used to not be much on routines, but sometimes their nice to have!

Anyway - I better get some other things done before we have to get up and get moving. I don't know when I will get to blog again, or have Internet for that matter, so just keep us in your prayers today as we fly across the country and then as we begin to look for a new home once we arrive. I hope everyone has a blessed day and all of you at Mom2Mom better rock the house today! I'm praying for you to have an awesome turn out and lots of fun!
